You have prompted me to resend it to Colin Barnett – this time to his Ministerial office – and have also sent a copy to Brendon Grylls. I first sent them on the 15 th March, so they have had plenty of time to at least acknowledge receipt. I did think I would at least receive an acknowledgement from Barnett as he put his party on the line over water last time he was in office. His big mistake was to laughingly declare “at any cost” instead of explaining the future pain of not attempting something. (Even though I believe his pipeline to have been the wrong way to go.) Anyway, thanks for your interest. I must say I was surprised, and pleased, to receive a call over a letter I wrote so long ago. I did receive a number of calls at the time which indicated to me that the ideas should receive further study. I did see one letter in reply from a so-called engineer who said it couldn’t be done. Ask anyone who has had to do the “impossible” and they will tell you than anything is “possible”. Unfortunately, we have too many in power who aren’t even prepared to look at the “difficult”, much less the “impossible”. Regards Stuart
